Le chauffage est aliment\u00e9 par des copeaux de bois, dont le bois provient de for\u00eats r\u00e9gionales. Le chauffage \u00e0 distance est r\u00e9gl\u00e9 par un syst\u00e8me d'autofinancement. Outre les immeubles communaux (b\u00e2timent polyvalent, gymnase, maison communale, autres immeubles communaux), une cinquantaine d'immeubles priv\u00e9s sont approvisionn\u00e9s en chaleur renouvelable pour le chauffage et l'eau chaude. Une partie de l'\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 solaire autoproduite peut \u00eatre consomm\u00e9e directement par les immeubles communaux (b\u00e2timent polyvalent et gymnase), le surplus \u00e9tant inject\u00e9 dans le r\u00e9seau. Schulraum und Werkhof wurde im Jahr 2012 auch ein W\u00e4rmeverbund eingebaut. Die Heizung wird mit Holzschnitzel betrieben, wobei das Holz aus regionalen W\u00e4ldern stammt. Die Fernw\u00e4rmeheizung ist mittels einer Selbstfinanzierung geregelt. Nebst den Gemeindeliegenschaften (Mehrzweckgeb\u00e4ude, Turnhalle, Gemeindehaus, weitere Gemeindeliegenschaften) werden rund 50 private Liegenschaften mit erneuerbarer W\u00e4rme f\u00fcr Heizung und Warmwasser beliefert.
